A classic car is lovely when it's shiny and running well. It turns heads. Your attraction's website probably felt like that on launch day: new, custom-designed and the pride of the marketing team.
But classic cars need constant upkeep and specialist knowledge to stay roadworthy, and if you leave them too long you end up with a big rebuild bill.
Websites tend to follow the same pattern:
- Spend a lot on a new site every 5 to 7 years
- Watch it age as technology moves on
- Find it hard to change anything without breaking something else
- Give in and rebuild from scratch
As web developers we like a big rebuild project, but we know most marketers struggle to find the time, the budget or the buy-in. The gap between what your site can do and what guests expect also grows every year you wait, and that costs you revenue.
That's why we built LOOP. Rather than a classic car you polish every few years, think of a newer car that's always being serviced and improved.
A few things that make the difference:
- 70+ modules built for attractions, such as events, calendars and maps
- Go-live typically takes 4 to 8 weeks rather than 4 to 8 months
- Low upfront cost, paid monthly or yearly
- Your team can edit content, structure and pages without a developer
- New features and best practice are added as you go
We're heading towards the end of summer, so it's a good time to take stock. Drop us a line if you'd like to talk it through.
