Revenue-boosting ideas for attractions

Easter's close and visitor numbers are still recovering. Here are ten quick ways to get more from every visit, without reworking your whole pricing model.

  • Add a low-cost membership upsell. A family membership at around £100 to £200 a year looks good value next to two or more day tickets
  • Offer a membership upgrade during the visit, on site or by follow-up email
  • Sell a simple on-site extra, like a discovery trail for under £5 a child
  • Run an Easter photo competition to get visitors sharing
  • Let people pre-pay for meal deals or merchandise bundles online
  • Offer 10 to 15% off for an email sign-up
  • Try a return saver ticket with 20 to 50% off a future visit
  • Start a VIP club with perks like birthday treats or early access to events
  • Create a multi-visit pass (1, 2 or 5 visits) for families who aren't ready for an annual pass
  • Sell behind-the-scenes experiences, such as animal feeds or talks

Most of these can be tested with your current ticketing and website, so none of them needs a big project. Small changes that lift spend per visitor and bring people back.

If you'd like help putting any of them into practice on your LOOP site, get in touch.
