Swapping your logo in LOOP is quick and easy. It's a good one to know about for a seasonal refresh, a new partner logo or a minor logo update. Your logo lives in the shared settings, like most things that appear across your site.
Step by step
- Open your settings. If you have multiple locations or brands, each one has its own homepage and its own settings, so choose the right one.
- Go to the Header section. Scroll down until you find Logo.
- Replace the logo. Remove the current one, then upload your new file. If your logos are already in the Media area, you can pick one from there instead.
- Publish and refresh. Check how it looks on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Other places to update
Changing your header logo won't change these automatically, so check each one:
- Footer logo: This is designed for your main brand logo. It sits at the top on mobile and on the left on desktop.
- Footer partner logos: A separate area for logos such as industry bodies, awards and tourism memberships. It displays further down the footer.
- Favicon: The little icon that shows in the browser tab. If you have one set, update it to match your new logo.
If you're only changing your logo for a short time, such as a Christmas campaign, you may not need to update everything.
A quick note on sizing
We look after the brand layer of your site, so if your new logo has a different shape or spacing from the old one, it may not sit quite right. If it looks a bit off, get in touch and we'll adjust the padding and spacing for you.
Planning a bigger rebrand?
A new logo is easy to do yourself, but a full rebrand is best left to us. We create a new bank of brand assets, which usually takes a couple of days, and then switch it on so your whole site updates in seconds. Your yearly rebrand, a design refresh or an add-on brand are all included at no extra charge.
Did you know, we'll rebrand your LOOP website for FREE, as part of your package. Get a yearly rebrand, design refresh or add-on brand at no extra charge.
Tips
- Keep your logo files organised in a folder in the Media area so they're easy to find.
- Always check your new logo on mobile, as that's where most guests will see it.
- Remember the footer and favicon, so your branding looks consistent everywhere.
