Events listings work in a similar way to News & Blogs listings (take a look at the video guide there for more). You can create different events listings for different areas of the business, or use Event Categories to keep them in one listing. All individual event pages are created underneath the Events Listing node.

Event Categories
If you wish to use categories for your events, create them first by clicking on the 'Event Categories' node. Categories can then be assigned from individual event pages, and users will be able to filter events by category on the listing page.

Event item pages
Each Event page has an Event settings tab where you can:
- Set when the event is taking place
- Pick a category
- Add an excerpt for the listing page
- Add key points about the event
- Add a booking link, displayed in the event panel at the top of the page

Repeating Event Instances
Each Event instance can have a start date (required), end date (optional, for multi-day events), start time, and end time. An event can have multiple instances — helpful if the same event runs on multiple dates throughout the year. Rather than creating the event multiple times, set multiple instances. The date also automatically feeds through to the opening times calendar.
