You can now add captions to images in LOOP, and there are at least 10 places where they can show. They're handy for museums, restaurants, photo credits or anywhere you want to explain what's in the picture.
Key points
- Turn it on: In the block settings, choose whether to show the caption. It's off by default.
- Choose the position: You can pick where the caption sits, so it works well with different images.
- Set the caption on the image: Open the image in the Media area and add your text in the new Caption field, then save.
- Updates everywhere: The caption changes on every page that uses that image, so there's no need to edit each page.
- Where it works: Hero, split section, split image section, image galleries, panel sections, wide panel section, overlap panel sections, signpost panels, background image section and timeline.
Tip: Captions are a simple way to show copyright or photographer credits. Update the credit once in the Media area and it changes across your whole site.
