Handling outages and downtime checklist

We work hard to ensure LOOP is reliable and can keep pace with your needs as you grow.

It's build on industry leading cloud infrastructure that we can scale, along with having caching and security provided by Cloudflare to minimise the risk of attacks and give us control to block malicious traffic that becomes an issue.

We ensure security patches are deployed promptly and always aim to keep sites as fast, secure and reliable as possible.

Things you should have ready in case of a longer outage:

  • Keep a log of your key booking links for all of your main ticket types, memberships and events
  • Create a draft email and social campaigns ready to send if there is a prolonged outage
  • Have campaigns ready to send for during and after the outage

We have only had one significant outage in the history of LOOP, and this was a UK Azure outage which also took down the Heathrow website.  At this point the outage is largely out of our control, we monitor and keep clients updated via email and the support portal, but the clients that engaged with customers about it reportedly saw a boost in bookings!
